| Yay!! You made my day! This was always one of my favorite stories, so thank you for the re-posting. It was a great first chapter. I'm glad you put each character's thoughts in italics-it helped make it that much more clear. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the story! | |||

| Like the pace of these chapters; feels dynamic, unpredictable and passionate. Dance scene in chapter two is crackling with chemistry--wow! | |||

| I keep trying to tell her she's damned good, but she just rattles on about being a math nerd. Maybe she'll listen to you guys. Val |

| I would say 'this is great' if it weren't superfluous. The writing speaks for itself. You capture the characters perfectly, which, in my opinion is a substantial portion of what makes a good story good. Well done. | |||

| Buffy and Willow very much in character here, especially B as action girl and W as the analyzer, and the issues B has about relationships are a valid concern; great example of the difference in perspective when Willow says things are moving so fast but Buffy sees it as having taken 9 years. Intersting, both are right... It did feel a little unexpected, though, that Willow went so suddenly from being about to jump Buffy's bones to making Buffy slam on the brakes. If I were Buffy, I probably would have felt a bit confused(huh? What just happened?} and hurt as well. Also a little confused by Willow specifically saying she didn't want to be an outlet for Buffy's darker needs, yet she instigated doing just that as she dominated Buffy with some rough love(which Buffy loved, of course). | |||

| Loved the last scene in chapter 6 when Willow confronted Nate; you're doing a good job "conjuring" a powerful and self-aware Willow(reminds me of Valyssia's Willow(s)). Story very intriguing, too. Can't wait for more! | |||

| Thanks for the words all around... Although as an interesting point: One Last Shot was posted before Valyssia started, or at least I'm fairly sure. Not too clear on the time lines here...early 2007, if I remember correctly. As I was discussing with the referenced author, she thinks maybe the comparison came from keeping the character in character. So for now, since she's one of the best I've read that can do that, I'll take it and meander off to bed since someone's kicking me off the internet. Take Care All. |

| Interesting story. Buffy ends up as a NYC Detective, with minimal contact with things that go bump, and next to no contact with the Scoobies. Until Willow comes to town. Both of them are clearly aware that this is truly their 'Last Shot' at getting together, and are working hard to make the relationship as solid as it can be. I like her partner, Jimmy. His reaction to the homophobic comments might be violent, but partners are quick to stand up for and defend each other, faster than to defend themselves. I liked how he handled his intro to vamps... no cop wants to admit, even to themselves, that they fainted from seeing the unreal. Its pretty clear that Xander still sees Buffy as if she is in HS, not as she actually is, I can't blame Buffy for running away from all of the Scoobies. She has changed, and they still want to force her into their image of what she should be, not what she is. Looking foward to the next update. | |||

| “It’s just that things for you were doable until I showed up and then there’s death. Like, you know, people dying to get our attention and I can’t help but feel guilty about it. I’m sorry, Buff.” “Hey, what’s to be sorry for? Will, I’ll be honest and say that there were brief moments of anger and the irrational thought that you coming here brought whatever is doing this, but then, what if your arrival came when the thing’s plans happened and it’s all coincidental? You can’t say that and I can’t either.” Just some thoughts when I read the above: Would've been nice maybe if Buffy had reassured Willow that having her back in her life, and particularly, finally having each other as lovers was worth whatever strife that might come. Also, I kind of expected B to be a little more worried, maybe, that Willow's a target? Even though we know Willow can take care of herself(and Buffy)and is more of an equal partner, the Slayer might still want to be a little protective and maybe stressed about the perceived threat to her mate? Primal response? |

| I don't think I've told you how much I've loved this story. It's one I've come back to several times over the years, and I'm glad you're revamping it to make it better...not that it was absolutely horrible to begin with... | |||

| I like it, but I could never figure out why she thought that Giles wouldn't try to stake Spike, he killed Slayers for God's sake. |

| "Jesus Christ Almighty in a little red nightie." I loved it on your first posting of this story, and I love it again here! That scene is hilarious. Excellent chapter, as always. | |||

| OH! I can see the differences and how much better these added details make the story. Kudos! You've made me want to go back and fix my stories, well some of them. | |||

| =0) Thank you...but again I can't seem to express how much help and time was taken by my beta's more specifically Valyssia...everyone did a nice job, but Val labored over this as much *cough* if not more *cough* than I did...I won't embarrass her much more here than saying I love her for it. Also, thanks to everyone that's left their kind words. |

| Not bad. I would have expected Buffy to go more postal on Susan when she attacked Willow, though. | |||

| Okay, I know I've told you through IM, but the rewrite on this story is great. The amount of work that's been put into re-doing each chapter is well worth it, and I just wanted to tell you that it flippin' rocks my socks off :D | |||

| That was the lamest reason that Aradia gave, she's just one of those people who wont make a committment and use that the other person is a big boy/girl so that they can sex everybody, they live in the land of booty calls. Buffy should have smacked her because she knew Willow was with her and Willow; she's so cavalier about cheating, I would have serious reservations about her and I'd be watching her pretty close. |

| I love that the other bad guy is Nekko, since you establish him as a "not" bad guy. I love those twists. :) | |||

| This story has been an amazing rollercoaster ride! Compelling plot and characters, angsty, heart pounding excitement and--most important--Wiffy love and hotness galore! One of my fave Wiffy fanfics ever! Thanks for sharing! | |||
